The challenge
A portfolio the size of EA's ships dozens of campaigns a year, and for a long time the creative behind them lived outside the company, spread across agencies, with the craft and the creative memory leaving at the end of every project. EA needed a studio of its own: one team that could design and produce world-class campaign content across every franchise, year after year.
The approach
- Stood up EA's first in-house creative studio from the ground up: producers, creative leads, editorial teams, sound editors, lighters, motion designers, and copywriters.
- Designed and produced the media for all of EA's marketing campaigns across the portfolio for three years, from Battlefield 1 and Apex Legends to FIFA, Star Wars, The Sims, and Need for Speed and many, many more.
- Ran a globally distributed team responsible not only for campaign content but for event content at E3, EA PLAY, and Gamescom, among many others.
